You can migrate your account between and “old” Android or iOS device and a “new” one, whether it runs Android or iOS.
Install the application on your new device and launch the account transfer service on both the old and new devices. This service is accessible by tapping your profile picture at the top to open the side menu, then SUPPORT / Account / TRANSFER BETWEEN DEVICES.
This service exchanges the existing account data (profiles, contacts, conversations, history, etc.) on the old device with the “empty” account on the new one. The transfer may take some time, depending on the amount of data in the account database.
Once the exchange has been completed, you can then delete the “empty” account on the old device and de-install the app.
On iOS devices, you should also be able to use the standard iOS applications transfer service, with the encryption option “ON”.
A back-up/restore on external media service is currently under development, to cope with lost or stolen devices.
