How do I know when a message has been delivered to & read by my contact?

Since release 6.2.0, twinme provides this information in the following way:

When your message is being sent, the icon  appears next to it. It means the message is being transferred to your contact’s device.

When your message has actually been received by your contact’s device, the message status icon changes to .

When your message has been opened by your contact the message status icon turns into your contact’s profile picture. This picture icon moves down with the latest message that has been opened by your contact.

The  message status icon  shows that the content you want to share (a photo for example) cannot be sent because your contact’s twinme version is not up-to-date and does not support this function. You should ask him/her to update twinme so you can share such content.
